I have another gorgeous smorgeous blog candy prize from Scrapware to give away!
Check this out!

It's a double frame kit with mini album covers and lots of cute stuff to decorate them with! How cool! The lovely Kim Arnold has designed some new scrapware products to be released soon - there's a sneak up on the Scrapware blog now. Looks great!
This time I am looking for feedback. I'm reviewing puzzle sketches success over the past 8 months, and looking for suggestions or comments to help make the site work the best way it can into its second year.
Do you think the way the prizes are structured is fair? Do you like having 2 public vote winners and 2 random winners? Are you happy with the challenges? The prizes? The blog candy? Got any ideas? You don't need to suggest anything useful or make a positive comment to win! It will be a random draw as usual.
You've got until Thursday the 12th to have your say. Don't be shy!!

Maybe a DT vote instead of the second public vote would work well...prizes and blog candy are great and love the challenge of the puzzle pieces. keep up the good work!!
I love the prizes and blog candy and I have really enjoyed all the puzzle pieces. I agree with Renae about the 2nd winner being a DT vote. But I like the idea of keeping two random draws as it keeps you entering even if you aren't the best scrapper. ;)
I think the idea of the second winner being a DT vote is a great one too!
I love the puzzle pieces.. they motivate me! and I need it! lol
and the prizes and the blog candy are great...
And being able to leave comments on other entrants layouts is fantastic... great way to interact with the other participants and maybe ask things about a technique they used or a product etc..
love the blog Nicole :)
see you at the retreat! 5 more sleeps!
I've only just found this blog but I think it looks great, and a bit different from other challenge blogs. Cant wait to get started!
I love the blog, I don't always get to do the sketches (or is that put them together) but I love all the inspiration. This year I endevour to upload more :)
I like the idea of a public vote, DT vote and then the random draws. I love the way you get puzzle pieces instead of a sketch as it makes the entries varied and interesting
Leanne :)
I have just found your site, I think your challenges are great, very open to interpretation. I think the random draw is great because it gives scrappers of all abilities a chance. I am looking forward to sharing my first puzzle sketch layout with you all.ty
Hiya Nic. Like Sandra said. 5 more sleeps to go.
wahu.
as a newbie to your challenge blog I had no idea how to vote initally. Could a set of simple instructions of how and when go in the sidebar??
Hope u can keep up the energy. I lurk here more often than you think ;)
just had another thought.
I have been searching for the poll of voting for the February enteries.
cant find it anywhere.
has it disappeared or do have my eyes shut???
ta chick.
It is gone Tiff! I leave it up for a few days after the winners announcement, but then I take it down. Gets a bit crowded!
I have only just stumbled across this blog but I now have it listed in my blog list. I think it's great and very challenging. I can't wait to take part in one of the challenges
Cheers
Theresa
I agree with a DT vote, too. DT vote for their fave and then public vote. I think a random draw is fab and blog candy rocks! Hopefully I get to this month's pieces!
I have just stumbled across your blog and given the March challenge a try. I think you need to have a random winner to keep it fair to all levels of scrappers...It will motivate even the less confident to give it a go. I loved your challenge because it was different to others...Thanks for the ideas and keep them coming :)
like a lot of the comments above, I too, have only just found this site..... in the last couple of days as a matter of fact, and i gotta say, I am sooooo..... excited about the puzzle sketch competition.
so much so, that it has actually prompted me to not only upload my first page onto the WWW, but to also enter my first competition.
it's such a novel take, on the whole sketch/page map "genre".
I agree with a lot of the above comments about the voting scheme....
1 x DT, 1 x PUBLIC, & 1 x RANDOM, choice, will let all levels of scrappers have a shot at the prizes.
can't wait for the April sketch.....
cheers
B
I think a DT vote is a great idea, but definately keep the random vote too.
shame on me.....i forgot to say a big THANK YOU, to Lee-Anne at Scrap Therapy, whom i have also found just recently.(if it wasnt for Scrap Therapy, I would never have found Puzzle Sketches)... the prices are great and the service is fantastic. i can't even get a 2 day delivery time from the capital city of the state i live in, don't know how she manages it from the other side of the country......AMAZING,
well look at me, uploading a LO, entering a competition, and posting comments....it's been a very exciting day...think i need to go lie down now...LOL...
I love the variety of options for prizes, but agree that a DT vote would be great. I love the challenge and try to do it most months, thanks!!!
I truly think the concept behind puzzle sketches is totally awesome and very innovative! The blog candy and prizes are fantastic too. I think there is very little you could change to improve the blog... I love it!!!
I think you are doing a great job here at Puzzlesketches.... such a pity I haven't had a chance to get going this year but I do drop by and vote.
I like the comments so far - Public vote, DT vote and random draws. This certainly brings in scrappers of all genres and levels.
I love the blog candy too and often go check out the sponsors shops.
Your puzzle pieces are varied and I'm looking forward to "boy" pieces next month.
I think Puzzle Sketches is great. I have participated in the past 3 challenges and am always amazed by the varied LOs that appear. I think a DT vote would also be a good idea but please keep the random draws for it gives everyone a equal chance.Another thought that I had this idea but do not know how it would work. When we (public) vote we have 3 votes, favourite layout would get 3 votes, next 2 and then 1, just to spread the voting around a bit more. Sometimes it is really hard to choose just 1!
Any way keep up the great work, love what you do.
No design team vote. That is what is wrong with other sites. They all pick their friends! I love the impartiality of this site.Perhaps if it goes to a second vote ask a non-scrapper like a family member or non scrapping friend.
You are doing a fantastic job.Keep it the way it is please.
